Thanks to Mari from Arcadian home 🙂 I typically don’t accept guest posts from companies ( just other bloggers and friends usually) but I actually follow arcadian home and have used them before 🙂 Enjoy!
Hello, everyone! It’s Mari here from Arcadian Home blog, a beautiful place to find lots of decor inspirations including interesting ways to use lighting fixtures like torchiere lamps and modern pendant lights. I’m so excited to be visiting Design Thoughts today to share a guest post about bright and cheerful rooms for boys. Here are eight images we hope will help you create bedrooms that will make you and your little boy or boys happy. Please enjoy!
Open and filled with light, this attic bedroom is perfect for a boy who is ready to venture upstairs to his own space. It’s perfect for sleeping, playing and learning.
A rainbow of color fills this cheerful big boy bedroom. Clever display and storage ideas can be seen throughout the space. I also especially like the large stripped rug and accent wall.
Red, white and brown (not the more obvious blue) bedding is an unexpected color choice in this traditional coastal style boy’s bedroom. Kids love to see pictures of themselves, so those framed photos are perfect at the head of the bed.
Yellow ceiling and modern pendant light set a colorful tone for this happy boys’ room. Wide varied stripes run horizontally making the space seem larger than it is. Bedding is a cheerful mix of colors and patterns—love the large polka dots.
How pretty and stylish is this bright bedroom design. It’s sophisticated with modern Swan chairs and cool geometric wallpaper, yet it works perfectly for an active child’s sleep and play space.
A large space with minimalist design style, this room has a chic look for Mom and a comfortable feel for a little boy’s first room. From soaring airplane to zebra patterned rug, this one is bright and cheerful with splashes of red.
In a pretty palette of aqua, sky blue and seafoam, this is a boy’s room fit for a designer mom and a future pilot! Chic narrow stripes seen on the headboard inset are repeated on pillow shams and the shades atop sleek contemporary lamps tying the room together nicely.
And last up is a contemporary boy’s room that is at once neutral in gray and bright and cheerful in red. You may have noticed I seem to be a fan of red metal racers as I inadvertently started and ended with rooms that included these little #1 cars. I want to know where the bed frame is from (pic with red airplane) or how it is made! 🙂
