Lately, I have been adding tiny things to our house, here and there. They have been super inexpensive, and barely time consuming, but added up, they just give me a big dose of happiness!! ( I am staying positive here, so I refuse to give you my laundry list of to do’s, and I am not going to complain about having a completely bare wall above our sofa, or zero window treatments in our living room…)
Anyway, my tiny addition for today, you ask? a beautiful little green and silver shell dish!!
My goal this year has been to organize, and slowly I have been doing that, this little dish, is just another step closer to complete tidy-ness ( in case you don’t know me, I am a messy person, and so is my husband, together with a 2 yr old we are a disaster, so it was time to start the journey ) the best part, other than the fact that its lime green on the inside and silver on the outside, (I LOVE THAT) it was on CLEARANCE!!! only 5 dollah!!!! WAHOOHOO
I should mention what I am using this for..its for my jewelry…I don’t have a lot, or anything expensive but I have a few things that are WORTH more money than anyone could give me 🙂
This is what it looked like prior to beautiful shell dish 😉 All of my stuff was just thrown on the little iron chair, I needed an intervention ( I know, this isn’t a lot of stuff, but it was still a mess I looked at everyday and thought, I need to do something about this)
By the way…notice my excitement about the clearance item at the top of this post?? I don’t care if I only save $2.99, to me a sale is a SALE!!!!
I’m trying to show you how awesome the Silver back with the green inside is, this picture SUX, but I am leaving it, you get the idea..
Here it is in ALL of its pretty little shell glory!!! No more hanging crazys that I have to un-tangle!
And now Buddha can finally get back to his place of rest!
It fits in perfectly with the colors on my dresser! Yay!! Can I just mention also, completely off the subject of my little shell, the picture of the three woman you see, its a picture of my gramma and her sisters, I love this picture so much, when I look at it, I feel like I am right there standing against the car with them, a true vintage piece. love….
