Set realistic goals…Since my laundry is in my kitchen ( remember, I live in a rented duplex…sigh..) I know there will be laundry..and lots of it..I do at least 2 loads a day with at least another 2 loads on deck ( for you baseball fans) So I found these super cute Crunch bags at The Container Store, so at least the load that is waiting, will look cute 🙂

Another great, simple organizing idea that I actually saw on Martha Stewart, is to tie your Sheet Sets together with Ribbon, so they are always together!! I thought that was great…have I done it yet, NO, but I promise its on my list!!

Here is something else that may not be useful for everyone, but for me, again because we have washer and dryer in our Kitchen, we love this. A gift from my step mom, because when I saw hers I loved it. My husband rides his bike for a living..well that’s not entirely true, but on any given day we may have 5-10 items of biking clothes hanging, basically, in our kitchen drying…and when I say hanging, I mean from door knobs and key hooks, so this little hanger helped IMMENSELY!
Look at the brilliant use for chalkboard paint that Ivillage featured!! If you have a specific space JUST for office, I love this idea!! Don’t forget a cute stool to get up to those first few days of the month!!

Here’s a couple great tips for ya Kim.
1) Sheet sets: fold neatly the bottom fitted sheet, the flat sheet and ONE pillow case to the same size. Store them neatly INSIDE the last pillow case, folding the excess neatly inside itself. Like a little package.
2) Have you seen the FabulouS peel-n-stick chaulk board and dry erase pages? They are tacky, not permanent, and don’t damage a surface. You can stick’em any where. The fridge for the kiddos to doodle on while momma’s making dinner. Over an office area. Kiddos bedroom walls. By the door for those last minute lists or notes. One the cabinet door for that ever looming grocery list.
3) Canning jars: not just for “canning” those summer veggies anymore. Use them for storing tea bags in the fridge to keep them fresh. Quarts hold full length pencils, with the lid on! Jelly jars are great for storing excess spices in the fridge or freezer.
Enjoy! Love from the Farm!

AWWWWW Thanks Kim. I love doing it, especially the more I do it. Unfortunately, I just don’t seem to have the time to keep up with it. Although, I have commited to make more of an effort in 2011!
At the Farm there are always PLENTY of topics/ideas/happenings to produce ideas. 🙂
