Hi Everyone!!!
I’m so excited that recently my E-Design, and Freelance client list has expanded!! I have a few projects happening right now, and I am so excited to finally share one of my favs! By the way, because I am honest, and this blog is about real life and truth..OH and pretty designs..A few of the clients are my actual friends. I love so much when I get to go into homes of the people I love and help them create a room/space that THEY love !! Its really where my passion is, AND why this blog started in the first place
Moving on to Baby “A” and his sweet little nursery. His mommy already had the crib, and the chair, and wanted to keep the walls painted grey ( I love grey!) so it was up to me to pull together a fun idea board, that really just included the pops of color and accessories to pull the space together. This is the first go, and she was super happy with it! I cant wait until I can show you the completed room!! Her budget was a real life budget of “I want to keep the whole project it under $1,000 if possible” and although I come from a background of no budget and decorating ridiculous homes ( a la 27K sf!! okay that was just one in my MI days…holla all my girls in MI who were just as excited as I was when I scored that meeting..! Sherry would be jealz) My passion is really designing for real life, not letting money keep you from a great space!
Be honest…is that the most AWESOME owl lamp you have ever seen? I know, Im obsessed with it too!
Here is the Money rundown: ( which baby A’s mom was happy to share)
Rug from House Of Henderson…………………..$89.00
Owl Lamp from West Elm…………………………$99.00
Side Table/Stool from West Elm…………………$84.99
Knitted Pouff from CB2……………………………$89.95
Wall Hooks from Land Of Nod………………… $48.00
Moose Head from My Retro Baby……………. $64.00
Custom Roman Shade
Fabric+ workroom …………………………………. $89.00
$570.00
So for all pieces, plus my design time, we certainly came in UNDER $1,000. It obviously helped that she already owned the big furniture items.! I am so excited to finally be diving in to “designing for real life”
Have an awesome Tuesday!!
