It worked!! It really worked!!

Well…I am SO excited with how our “Easter Egg Dye made from food” came out!!!!! (look at yesterdays post here) I did have high hopes, but there was a little tiny piece of me that thought….hmmmm should I have the good ole fashion color discs on hand just in case this blows..well it didn’t blow, and they turned out so pretty !!

I decided to do Cherry Jello, Orange Jello, Turmeric, and Blueberries…I bought the beets, and had the paprika, but already had those colors with the blueberries and the jello…so here are a few of our pics from this adventure in Easter Egg Coloring!! Happy Holidays!

I was so impressed with the intensity of the Turmeric coloring!

Smelling this Jello boiling brought me right back to being a kid.

I had “L” help me smash up the Blueberries before we boiled them, it wasn’t necessary, but I knew he would love doing it, and I knew I could get some super cute pics of him for his scrap book!

He loved it!
