Happy Friday!
One of the MANY things on our list of TO DO’s: in this house we now call HOME lovingly…was to Paint the walls in the kitchen..and I mean ASAP!! As I have mentioned before in previous posts ( Like Here) our kitchen is baaad..I have actually grown to love the layout of it, and the cabinet space, but the actual finishes that were here when we moved in, not so good!
Here is what the paint was before ( is that aqua???!!!)
Also remember, we have Yellow counter tops ( lovely) and knotty pine cabinets ( dbl lovely) we needed to tone that SH** down!! woah! SO I selected Martha Stewart “Heavy Goose” MSL261, but had it made with Glidden Paint and Primer in one ( I will never use anything else!!)
As always, after the first few rolls, I was hanging my head in dismay…too light blueish looking, too light in general…at that point…my husband reminded me that I do this EVERY.SINGLE.TIME i paint…I cant judge until it dries…so glad I waited because I LOVE the finished color!!!! its the perfect tone of Grey! and its always so hard to find that!! so here are the after shots..
