As you can imagine, as an interior designer, my mind has been going koo-koo ever since we found a home in Nashville!! Around the same time we found a home, I was also notified that I had won $500 to use at Lamps Plus. Here began my journey to A Teal and Lime Green living room.:)
I decided I wanted a new rug!! I couldn’t decide on the color, so I reached out to my Facebook fans, I asked which number everyone was drawn to, and 42 comments later ( thank you!!!) #2 was the clear winner. I had already decided on #2 prior to asking..but it was fun to see all the comments! I actually really LOVE #1, but I feel like I have seen it done a lot already.
I was super excited to create the visual, so now it was time to take it one step further, what accent color do I want. The tiny little flower that I drew above ( on the console table) is what helped me lean towards lime green. I started pulling some things together using Olioboard ( love) and this is what I came up with! I cant wait to get to Nashville and start creating our new home!!! The rug below, and the cool vintage airplane print, is what I ordered from Lamps Plus!! cant wait to get them both into the space!!
I still have gaps to fill in, but that is part of the fun of creating!! Seeing what fits!! I cant wait to update you all!! or I should say..Y’all 😉
