Happy Thursday!! This week is FLYING by, and I am pretty excited about that!! We leave in 4 days to spend a week at the beach, just the 3 of us, and it is lonnnnng overdue!!!
Today I am inviting you in to take a look at the progress of My Alamo Rd project. Its been so fun, and we are far from complete, but I love to share progress on design projects.
“Project Progress”
If you follow along on Instagram, you have watched this project change over the last 2 months. Here is where we started:
When I started, this room was overly brown in tone, to even that out, I have started to add greys to the mix ( one of my favorite combos, Grey and brown). The rug is a light brown base with grey diamonds from Restoration hardware, and I switched the tone of the wall from a light tan, to a grey. The pillows were switched out from florals in bright pinks and browns, to calm, peaceful blue, greys and browns, with some geo patterns. We are so excited with how its coming together, and cant wait to see once the custom valances, new artwork and accessories are added!!
Materials used:
Restoration Hardware-Double Diamond Moroccan wool Rug in Grey 8′-10′
All pillows from West Elm
Paint Color: Sherwin Williams-Misty
Up next with Project Progress, I am going to be sharing a super bright and fun kitchen reno!! I cant wait to show you this sparkly backsplash in its completed glory!!
Enjoy your weekend, and stay tuned for next weeks Design Tip Tuesday, where I share a video about styling your night stands. Do you have design questions for me? email me and I will be taking ea Tuesday to answer them!!
