Yeehaw !!! Did I ever have an AWESOME weekend!! Yes, thats last weekend I am talking about, since this weekend is like, here already!! My gosh time flies!! Well, my awesome weekend LAST weekend started on Thursday actually, When My friend Lana, from New York, her husband Joey, and their baby boy, Atlas, stopped over in Nashville during their family road trip! ( I actually met Lana through a bloggy “meet up” waaay back like 2 years ago in New York City, which feels like a lifetime ago!!) I was so excited that we could take just a bit of time to catch up!! (ps. her blog, “Making A house A home” is amazing, so hop over there and check it.)
On Friday, one of my very best friends, T-Diggz, as she is known in the hood, came for a visit, and we ran “The Color Run: Nashville“!!! OH.MY. GOSH!!! if you EVER, I mean EVER get a chance to do a color run DO IT!!! you literally are showered with beautiful color through out the entire race…I say race, but really its like… a magical, walk/ run, where everyone is smiling and laughing and doing things like, rolling on the streets to get more color on them!! its not timed. You don’t have a chip in your shoe. its just PURE.FUN!!!

It was so much fun, and to experience it with T, made it even better!! I actually may be turning into one of those people who use to follow “the Dead” or “Phish” all over the U.S, but I” be following “The Color Run”…pretty soon, I will be making grilled cheese sandwiches in the parking lots of Color Runs all over America..anyone want to join me?? 🙂
