Its so amazing that my New Years eve is usually filled with a silent moment of contemplating, and pages of hopes and wishes that I send out to the universe, with the knowing and excitement that I will Manifest the SHIT out of that list…and I usually do( by manifest I mean that I make a conscious decision to remain open to whatever god/universe/spirit, puts in my path). This year was so different..we were moving. We were packing our entire life into boxes. We were making our dream of “Our Family of 3 is #1” come true!! I didn’t even take a moment to think about what I hoped for in 2013. All I knew for sure is that 2013 is the year for family, and I am so excited about that. SO, I know it is 1/2 way through my birthday month of January…but I thought, instead of listing all of my personal goals for Design Thoughts and for Making money..I would share the list that I have finally taken the time to focus on…what will I manifest for myself and my family this year…
More time together
Day vacations on the weekends since Grant will now be home!
Learning new and exciting meals to make for dinner ( I know this sounds very 1950’s house wife..I get it..and i LOVE THAT!!)
Take a cooking class
Be more present when I am with Liam
Be more Present when I am with Grant
Be more present when I am with ME.
Plant flowers because I love gardening. A happy mama helps make a happy family
A brother or sister baking for Liam by the end of the year ( I can hear my families screams of joy from here)
Get involved in this sweet community of East Nashville as a family (go to festivals, participate in fundraisers, run races, eat local, shop farmers markets, meet lots of people)
Take our doggies for walks everyday. They are a big part of our family and they are old. I want them to be happy too.
Remember birthdays of our families and friends. I really was so AWESOME at that..back then..
Travel as a Family when we visit family. No more splitting time.
Start a mothers spirit circle…maybe its called “Soul Mamas” or “Bonded Mamas” or “Connected Wisdom” circle…
Stop keeping such good track of time when no one else is involved ( example..Me: “Oh Liam, its 12:30 time for Lunch I need to stop playing so I can make your lunch” Liam: I not hungry quite yet mama..my response now” but its 12:30 and you have nap at 1:30 so by the time I make lunch I promise you will be hungry” my goal response…”Ok, lets wait”
Enjoy every SWEET minute that I have at home with Liam right now, because in a VERY short time…he will be in school ALL DAY 🙁
Exercise with my husband. We use to. We loved it. We don’t do it anymore. I want to start again.
Have more picnics.
Get back into Yoga, and teach Liam.
Realize I am only human, which means my husband is only human, and so is my son. Lean away from tension..lean into Love.
I think that about does it…I actually do have a very long list of business goals also…but I am making family a priority. So that’s why I am sharing this list 🙂
